Eleven collections in our region are Designated by MLA of international importance and together they represent a rich resource for inspiration and enjoyment. Sunday 24 August is the day when the Beijing Olympics finish and the eyes of the world start to focus on London 2012. You can help the UK celebrate the handover with your own event. Never before will one moment of ceremony linked all corners of the UK in this way. Make sure you join the fun.
China East - its not as far as you think
As part of the build up to 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games we help celebrate the Olympic spirit with a calendar of Chinese cultural events. A new leaflet invites residents of the region to experience, explore and enjoy a programme of activities, trails and exhibitions for all ages.

NVQ qualifications now available through regional college
MLA East of England has teamed up with West Suffolk College to offer NVQ qualifications for cultural organisations and their workforce. Achievement of the NVQs will provide the opportunity for individuals to demonstrate that they work consistently to a national standard recognised by the sector. They also indicate that an organisation is committed to developing its workforce and maintaining quality.
